Fan Reaction

I am a science teacher by profession. Although I love my job, I also have a passion for writing which has smoldered for many years and finally burst into flames last year with the publication of KDrama Queen.

Now, while I have discovered that there is some truth to the fact that a writer writes to please himself, there is also a desire for others to enjoy their work as well. I was tickled to death when I received my first fan letter. I was just as delighted when I discovered that the book has a 4 star rating on Amazon. Even so, it is not the same as being able to experience a reader’s reaction first hand.

However, I had that opportunity not too long ago when a professional acquaintance turned friend read my book. With her permission, I have taken a series of screenshots that she sent to me as she read it and texted me emojis in real time.

Since last night I rounded the halfway mark on the book’s sequel, I thought I might take a few moments and share them with you. I won’t spoil the ending, but it was worth it.
